The coronavirus pandemic forced Howard University to cancel this year’s homecoming. However, this did not prevent students, faculty and alumni from celebrating one of the world’s most popular collegiate traditions. The university held multiple virtual events, which included Yardfest and a Call to Chapel. All the of the week’s events represented the 2020 homecoming theme, “Advocacy.” NewsVision’s Samantha Chaney reports.
