A group of college students created the short film, “Twenty & Odd: 400 Years of African American Experience,” for Black History Month to honor “the history, resilience and beauty of the African-American experience” against a backdrop of historic parks and sites. The late poet laureate Maya Angelou narrates “Still I Rise.”
Matthew John of Ohio State University directed the film in conjunction with the National Park Service. The student producers were:
